Free Classes Offered by the Yoga Vista Studio

We offer free yoga classes, programs and educational sessions to the community as part of our Karma Yoga Offering. Simply said - we give to you, so you can give to others. Pay it forward. Many of our free offerings are taught by our dedicated staff who have the heart and passion for their topic of expertise. Come join us on the Yoga Journey of your life - it is a wonderful adventure! FREE! New Student Orientation Every Second Sunday of the Month from 12:00 - 1:15pm - Aug 8, Oct 10 and Nov 14, 2010 If you are new to Yoga or considering embarking on a new Yoga practice, join Marjorie Old for a FREE orientation to Hatha Yoga. We'll cover: An introduction to yoga, including history and benefits What to bring to a yoga class Expectations for attending a yoga class What your Yoga instructor wants to know Greeting with "Namaste" An opportunity to practice a few common poses Assistance finding a comfortable seat-something that will make your Yoga experience more pleasant Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat (if you have one). Open to everyone! Check the online schedule for more info. FREE! Yoga Cancer Recovery We are honored to offer two FREE Yoga for Cancer Recovery classes to any cancer patient and/or their caregivers. These classes are suitable for everyone and no prior yoga experience is required. Enjoy this gentle, uplifting class where students will learn techniques they can take "off the mat" and incorporate into their own recovery.
