Senior Yoga
Seniors have a special place at the Yoga Vista Studio. We offer Gentle Yoga and Chair Yoga classes
that make yoga accessible to anyone, no matter what age or health condition. These speciality
yoga classes were created at Yoga Vista by Mary Cavanaugh when she was 79 years old! We have continued
to offer and expand our classes to the senior community and have partnered with the Vista Library to offer FREE Chair Yoga
classes bi-monthly at the library and at the Studio on Thursdays at 11:00 am. Check our

As the body ages, muscles and joints begin to tighten which causes discomfort and anxiety about one's physical well-being. When mobility decreases, many seniors find they start moping around and some even fall into depression. Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga is approved by the Arthritis Foundation
to ease the aches and pains of arthritis sufferers, and is very beneficial for office
workers who need a lunch-break stretch.
We offer weekly Chair Yoga classes on Thursdays from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. The first and third
Thursdays are FREE at the Vista Library, and the opposite weeks are at the
Yoga Vista Studio for only $5. Check our
