Jon

Jon is a 200-hr registered yoga teacher and graduate of the True Nature School of Yoga. Three years ago Jon plunged head first into Yoga. After establishing a consistent yoga practice he attended and graduated in the first class of the True Nature School of Yoga.
After graduation, Jon spent a year in self-reflection and dedicating time to studying the Yoga scriptures. His teaching style is a blend of movement and meditation, with an emphasis on Mindfulness.
Jon has also attended the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program at the UCSD Center for Mindfulness. Using this training Jon has established a deep personal Meditation practice, which he has begun to share through Meditation classes at Yoga Vista.

De-Stress Yoga helps you unwind from your busy life and sleep more soundly. By

postures, you will be guided slowly and easily into a state of relaxation. Find some peace in your day
and learn how to free your mind from life's distractions so you can rest. Level 1-2/Gentle
Sunday Meditation
Sessions usually consist of two to three 15-minute guided and/or silent meditations,
ranging from a focus on mindfulness. Participants need no prior experience. This is a FREE
class - the gift of space and time is provided by Yoga Vista, the facilitation is a gift
from Jon, and the experience is a gift to you. Meditation is a key to quieting the mind and
bringing about a more relaxed and focused state of consciousness. Through meditation and
contemplation, answers to life's questions often arise. Come and experience the connection
to your true self and all living creatures.Class is FREE. All Levels.
