Larisa
I worked for a number of years as an English teacher at Samara Aerospace University in Russia. The whole time I was there, I was always chosen by my colleagues to be the artist for the foreign languages department. This made me responsible for painting and decorating the dept. whenever we were to observe upcoming events, such as International Woman's Day. During that time in Samara, I also started my own sewing business. At weekend fairs, I sold clothes that I had designed and sewn myself. I believe that my love of art contributed to my success in this endeavor.
And, now, I'm here in the U.S.A., and I discovered the beautiful practice of yoga, as it is the perfect complement to my creativity and passion for arts. I am a graduate of the True Nature School of Yoga and I enjoy bringing yoga to life in a way that encourages my students to pursue their passions and their dreams.
Larisa is a talented artist and discovered her passion for oil painting in recent years. Even before
studying to become a yoga teacher, she was creating yogic pictures and messages through her artwork. Now,
she blends her two passions together as she brings to life yogic principles and wisdoms in a colorful
and beautiful way. She painted the Seven Chakras you will see adorning the walls of the Yoga Vista Studio.
